Air washing module for cleaning ibcs

Air Wash Module

Providing a complete inside wash and dry of the IBC without the need to remove the Cone Valve.

Pressurized air is supplied through a lance and nozzle arrangement to expel any particles of powder dust and residue.

Using only air removes the risk of waterborne bacterial growth associated with traditional water-based systems.

Particularly valuable in applications handling dairy or infant nutrition powders.

Any residual powder waste is collected by a dust extraction unit.

IBC Washing - clean and simple

When it comes to cleaning powder residue off the surface of a Matcon IBC, our range of IBC wet wash equipment starts with the manually placed wash lance.

This unit provides the same washing performance and coverage as the lance on our larger automatic washing system however this device requires operators to remove the IBC Cone Valve from the IBC and manually locate the wash lance on the inlet of the IBC, thus requires more manual intervention than a fully automated system.

The wash lance arrangement is suitable for food applications as well as industrial markets such a metal powders and chemicals.
