Combined with all of its existing excellent features, the Matcon Powder Packer is ideally suited for ‘Business to Business’ (B2B) applications where recipe variation is common and efficiency, simplicity and hygiene are the driving factors, rather than high throughput.

Versatile and simple to operate
Designed for quick changeovers, the Powder Packer efficiently fills 5-25kg bags (at a rate of 1 - 2 bags per minute) straight from a Matcon IBC, without the need for secondary feeders. The simple design reduces downtime as change-out parts are cleaned off-line, enabling recipe changeover in minutes rather than hours. ‘Make-to-order’ and smaller recipe runs become possible, thereby reducing inventory and improving cash utilisation.
Accurate, direct dosing from your IBCs
By using Cone Valve technology combined with loss-in-weight and gain-in-weight load cells, product dosing accuracy is assured as well as no mix segregation. This means that your end product integrity is always maintained. The Powder Packer can handle a range of powder types from cohesive to free-flowing without the need for technical adjustments due to the user-friendly dual-mode software.
