Our employees have nominated The Vale of Evesham School, a specialist school for Cognition and Learning to receive our fundraising and volunteering support this year. So far during 2016 and 2017 we have given over 80 hours working in the school’s sensory garden area laying foundations and painting play-equipment. We have also been lucky enough to secure funding from the IDEX Foundation which will be used to purchase a large hammock and sunken trampoline that facilitates movement, balance and muscle tone. Stephen is passionate about Matcon, our employees and our customers. Since becoming Managing Director he has re-focussed and re-engaged the business which has directly led to Matcon increasing customer satisfaction and our Order Intake.
Stephen took the position of Managing Director in January 2016, having previously been the Finance Director since joining Matcon in 2013.
He has extensive Finance and Management experience having worked for a number of successful organisations ostensibly in the UK Manufacturing sector.
Israr provides the financial leadership ensuring that the growth & financial goals are reached, whilst achieving maximum return on capital employed within a stringent compliance environment.
The Finance team partners the wider business by delivering strong analytics to drive accountability and informed decision-making, ensuring we meet our long term strategic goals and performance delivery to both internal and external stakeholders. Being a subsidiary of a large US Corporation, Matcon follows strong internal processes and policies to be sure that all actions and commitments are Sarbanes Oxley compliant.
As a Chartered Certified Accountant, Israr brings a wealth of Financial leadership and directorship experience gained in diverse industry sectors having held similar roles at Eaton Corporation, Mettler Toledo and Roper Technologies Inc.
Esther manages the finance function of Management Accounting, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
Esther has an approachable, people centred approach.
She is an ACMA Qualified Accountant with a wide experience of different business environments including publishing, consumer products, white goods, and an independent consultancy.

The HR department ensures we have the capability to meet business needs through the management of our most valuable resource – our employees.
As a team they handle the usual broad spectrum of HR activities with particular emphasis on Employee Engagement and ensuring that we as a company uphold the values of TRUST, TEAM and EXCELLENCE. By supporting these values our employees are given the opportunity to be and to do their best every day.
Mike has extensive experience gained in both the UK public and private sectors, and has been leading the HR team at Matcon since March 2014.
Pharmaceutical Business Line Director
Richard is responsible for overseeing the continued growth of the Pharmaceutical side of Matcon’s business.
His role encompasses working with our dedicated, regionally based team to further expand our presence within the generic OSD industry in India & Bangladesh, ensuring we deliver on our promise of Customer Excellence. Additionally providing specialist, strategic support to our global Sales teams when needed to maintain our competitive position in the pharmaceutical sector around the world.
A Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering with 20 years of experience in the food, pharmaceutical, oil & gas sectors along with a customer focussed approach allows Richard to help our Customers solve their material handling problems, working alongside them to understand not just the problem but its impact on their process.
Customer Excellence Line Director
Dave is responsible for ensuring the customer excellence experience continues once the Matcon equipment is installed and commissioned.
With a global team of Service Account Managers you can be sure of local technical support to look after your production needs, provide guidance, training and advice on how to optimise and maintain your investment. Our centrally based Customer Excellence Team organise our spare part and repeat equipment orders ensuring customer down-time is kept to a minimum.
Dave has been with Matcon for over 18 years employed in both technical and commercial roles, which means he has acquired a considerable wealth of experience in powder handling technology.
The Marketing team ensures that our message reaches the right audiences in a consistent and attractive manner.
We cover a wide range of marketing disciplines which includes identifying the right exhibitions to attend around the world and then delivering a great show, maintaining a user-friendly website, writing Case Studies & White Papers, as well as working closely with our Sales team to ensure we help our customers on their buying journey.
Kathryn has been leading the team since 2014, coming from a consumer-based background in Consumer Insights gained at Mondelez, SmithKline & Boots.
Brian is accountable for the smooth delivery of all our contracts within the business, ensuring we give first class service to our customers.
His team includes the disciplines of Project Management, Engineering, Purchasing and Compliance. All are core functions that are essential to the successful implementation of a project from point of order, through Engineering & the factory and on to the customer site.
As a Chartered Engineer with nearly twenty years’ experience of pharmaceutical & material handling machinery, combined with his desire to fully understand the needs of the application, he has a passionate commitment to customer satisfaction.
